Epson America today announced an agreement with Royal Philips Electronics that will help pair Epson ink jet printers and WorkForce all-in-ones, designed specifically for business environments, with Philips ultrasound medical imaging systems in healthcare clinics and hospitals in the U.S. and around the world, wherever Epson printers are available. This is possible due to the unique Epson ESC/P-R Print Class Driver that enables users to print to a full line of Epson ink jet printers from a wide variety of digital equipment.

The 96th Scientific Assembly & Annual Meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, which hosts nearly 60,000 attendees from around the world, takes place this year from November 28 till December 3 this year. The absence of AAC is a predictor of no disease, just as the presence suggests obstructive CAD and all-cause mortality. In an analysis of noncontrast abdominal scans of 367 patients, AAC's ability to predict obstructive coronary disease had a sensitivity of 96 percent and a specificity of 31 percent, with positive and negative predictive values of 58 percent and 89 percent, respectively.
AAC scores proved to be significantly higher in patients with obstructive CAD, while at the other end of the AAC range, only seven of the 62 patients with an AAC score of zero showed obstructive CAD on...
